Nice amenities (pools, playground, mini golf, tennis courts, etc.), but the room we stayed in was out of the 80s.. very dated and needs updating badly. There were crooked shelves, drawers and cabinet doors not closing properly, and one of the 2 elevators was out of service the entire week. I assume other rooms are nicer, but we got one of the dated ones unfortunately.

First time visit! Front desk staff are fast and helpful. Rooms are very clean, and appealing. It appears they've been making updates, keeping up with the property, and maintain it well. The heated pool is nice. Plenty of seating area with a bar. The splash pad is sad. Mini gulf, the playground, and tennis courts are in great shape. Limited parking at night when everyone is on property but not an issue during the day. We had a few non-essential items not in our room. I didn't even call to ask for the items, although, I am sure they would have brought them to us if I had asked. I would stay here again! This resort is quiet and nice. It is close to many attractions and near Orlando. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean! Something to improve: We stayed on the 6th floor with a 3yo. I would prefer some safer door locks to the patio as it only has one low deadbolt that is easy to unlock. The door handle lock didn't work. A chain up high would be safer.

We had a great stay at Star Island Resort and Club during our family Disney and Universal vacation. The location was very convenient — about 10 minutes from Disney and around 25 minutes from Universal. The room and pool areas were clean, and the overall atmosphere was very family-friendly with lots of other families staying there as well. The pool ended up being one of our kids’ favorite parts of the trip and was a great place to relax after long park days. The gym was also nice and well kept, and having the café on site made it easy to grab quick lunches and snacks without leaving the resort. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay, and we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Disney.

Our stay at Star Island Resort had both positives and disappointments. We booked through a timeshare and were expecting a two-bedroom unit with a full-size kitchen. Unfortunately, that was not our experience in the “A” building. Instead of a full kitchen, the unit included only a mini refrigerator, a small sink, a dishwasher, and two compact electric burners. The layout was also misleading—the “second bedroom” was actually a pull-out couch located in the kitchen area, while the main bedroom contained two queen beds in a relatively small space. Another concern was noise. The adjoining door to the neighboring unit allowed us to clearly hear conversations, television noise, and even laundry being done, which impacted our comfort. Additionally, our unit appeared outdated and not renovated like others on the property. During booking we had asked if there were adjoining units for family to have access next door and were told the property did not have shared access. There were some positives worth noting. The grounds were well maintained and visually appealing, and the security staff was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, the overall experience was diminished by extr

We got a very nice spacious two bedroom condo. There is actually a third room with a pull-out couch which is quite comfortable. We have absolutely no complaints. We have been owners over 20 years with Wyndham and this is a beautiful resort from the well-maintained grounds to the pools and bar area. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff was exceptionally helpful.
